#AtoZChallenge @AprilA2Z Our Theme Reveal

It’s time for the Grand Theme Reveal for the A to Z, 2015 and I welcome you all to Blog-A-Rhythm

atoz-theme-reveal-2015-660x400

This is our first year at the A to Z Challenge and boy, are we excited! Do you know why? Because, we are literally doing what our Blog’s tagline says: ‘We’re in it together’.

Yep, all through the month you are going to be reading guest posts from 26 members of B-A-R (Blog-A-Rhythm). And what are we going to talk about?

BR

Our theme for the A-Z is going to be ‘Blogging Bytes’.

Each blogger will write about an aspect of blogging that all bloggers can identify with. Some of them are doing the A-Z on their own blogs while others are just writing the one post for B-A-R. Either way, we would love for you all to encourage the writers, share their posts, leave some warm comments and just touch base with all of us here at B-A-R.

Because, like we said, we bloggers, we’re in this together 🙂

Now that you’ve read our theme  head on over here to the linky

and check out more themes by other bloggers.

Blog-A-Rhythm is #100 on that list.

Wordy Wednesday #9 & Blogging Tip

Welcome  to Wordy Wednesday at Blog-A-Rhythm.

This week’s Blogging tip:

This week’s tip is actually more of a tutorial by our B-A-R member, Rachna Parmar, who takes us through the concept of moving your Blogger blog to a custom domain. Read this post to know more:

Moving from Blogger domain to custom domain

This Week: Sentence Prompt

This week’s prompt comes from B-A-R member, writer and blogger,

Shilpa Garg, who blogs here.

Write a minimum of 100 words on the prompt.

Make it work for you.

Welcome back everyone to the weekly sharing linkup. Today, we are  featuring one of the ‘unknown’ faces behind B-A-R. Please raise your glasses in a toast to:

Red Handed  who blogs at The Red Handed Blog 🙂

In her own words, Red has this to say:

Though a Malayalee by lineage, I was born and brought up in Madhya Pradesh. I was the only child until my brother joined me when I was 8 years old. After frequent bouts of hating and hurting him, I decided to accept him as someone I so love.

I was coerced into learning Carnatic music for 6years because my grandfather loved my voice. I got into a National Law University and pursued law. Did litigation for a year and decided that it wasn’t my cup of tea. Now I am someone who specialises in International taxation and is currently in Bangalore.

I am presently toning up my body through cardio by way of running away from arranged marriages. I am anonymous not because I can write better that way but because I am fine with my posts getting the limelight. My favourite part of a meal is dessert and all good conversations start with food.

Here is Red’s recent post which is slightly different from her usual mould:

To the man who bought a pad

Red Handed is a blogger who writes the most rib-tickling, side-splitting and hilarious posts I have ever read. You cannot walk away from her posts with your sanity intact and I mean that in the best way possible. The only grouse I have with her is that she doesn’t blog as often as I would like her to. 😉

So, do pop over and say ‘Hi’ when you can. She would love to hear what you have to say.

In the meanwhile, add your links to the blue frog below and stroll around to visit the other blogs. Linkup stays open till next Saturday, March 21st.

Note: You only need to have a blog to add your links to this linkup 🙂

You do not need to be a B-A-R member 🙂

Please tweet your links to @Blogarhythm1 so we can reshare your posts.

Each person can add any number of links. No ‘BAR’ on that 😉

Have a good week, people.

This week’s Blogging tip:

Looking for inspiration to write a post? Pick up a book, flip through it and open it at a random page. Jab your finger on a sentence or a word and use that for inspiration. Oh, this works. Trust me 😉
