Wordy Wednesday #1- October 2015 #WordPrompt

Welcome  to Wordy Wednesday at Blog-A-Rhythm.

First, our blogging tip for the week:

Playing with words

Writing is such a evocative exercise, isn’t it? I’ve been writing everyday for the last month or so. Some of it sees the light of day when it is published on the blog, some of it takes the form of a status update on Facebook or a tweet, others appear as long and loving messages exchanged over chat with dear friends and a lot of it has been going into my work in progress. What is it about words that make you think or imagine or visualise an entire scene? Have you ever pondered on this? The image today, that of scrabble tiles lined up to spell out coffee, can be interpreted in so many ways, right? You could write a haiku on coffee or a short story about how a game brought two people together. You could write a nostalgic post on the lovely memories associated with board games or a sentimental one on how the smell of coffee triggered an everlasting love affair. The possibilities are endless!

So, what do you think?

Can you weave magic out of a word or  a set of words?

Here’s one word to get you started!
