Blogging Tip from the BAR: Be yourself

February is here! I am so excited! Don’t ask me why. I’m just excited.

Okay there might be a small reason for that, to be honest. BAR had its second Bangalore meet yesterday and meeting all my favourite bloggers offline always gives me such a high. Writing this post itself is bringing back all the memories of the fun times at lunch. Ah, good times!

This week’s Tip:

Be your authentic self

I’ve been observing bloggers a lot over the past few years and I find that each person has their unique voice that they bring to their blogs. That’s great, right? I mean, why be something different? In fact I know some who are so brutally honest that it takes my breath away- mostly in admiration.

Why should you be authentic?

  1. It helps you grow more comfortable in your niche.
  2. You will be read for the uniqueness of your voice.
  3. Your words are the best representation of who you are. Make them count
  4. You will grow to love blogging or writing for the honesty it affords you.

So, Blogarhythm is going to try and help you. Each week we are going to recommend one blog right here.  How does that sound? And hey, return the favour! Add your recommendations in the comments below. We’d love to read new blogs!

This week’s recommended blog: Rekha Dhyani

She writes on a lot of subjects with passion and interestHer post for last week’s prompt got her the featured blogger pick today!
