Blogging Tip of the Week

Welcome back to our Blogging Tip this Monday!

Blogging tip, All about blogging

This Week’s Tip: Add a “Click to Tweet” Link to Quotes Within Your Posts

There is no denying that sharing of content on Twitter is an immensely powerful, and essential, marketing tool for websites and blogs

Would you like your readers to tweet an important message or quote or data from your blog post rather than the link of the whole post?

Well, you can do it easily by adding “tweet this quote” or “click to tweet” link within your post!

This little feature ensures that the key message or quote gets highlighted and is not lost in the main post.

For instance, you’d like to tweet the following message from this post. The new Blogging Tip from the BAR is live. Check it out.

All you have to do is go to, Click to Tweet (for Blogger and blogs) or add a plugin Tweet This (for blogs). These are free tools which are  a quick and easy way to add a tweetable bit within the content of the post. With the help of this you can generate a link and copy the generated link and hyperlink the text you want to be shared.

  1. This is a great plugin and makes real sense if you have quotes or important information that you would like to highlight 🙂
Personally – I would just be cautious about the use and that it doesn’t break the flow for the reader.
