Wordy Wednesday #2- August 2015 #PhrasePrompt

Welcome  to Wordy Wednesday at Blog-A-Rhythm.

First, our blogging tip for the week:

Be consistent

Consistency is one of the key things that works in blogging. The idea is to write as often as possible.  It is much easier to lose your existing traffic than it is to build it up, so make sure you blog regularly.

So, the next question that you may ask is about the frequency of posting? Well, there are no rules about how many posts you should write. It could be 6 posts a week or one post a week.

Problogger says, develop a rhythm of posting that readers will become accustomed to and that you are able to sustain. If that means you post 10 useful posts a day and readers love what you’re doing then that’s fantastic. If that means you post one high quality and thought provoking post a week that gives readers something meaty to think about then that’s great too.

Ideally, you should post often enough to keep readers interested, but spacing them out enough to so as not to overwhelm them.

How often do you post? And how often do you think you should be posting?

Please share in the comments 🙂

  1. A very vaild tip! I make it point to blog at a minimum of 3 posts a week but I also ensure that I don’t do more than one in a day. Also, I agree – the more consistent one is with quality content, the traffic also stays the same.
Roshan – a good prompt there!
